COMP Cams Thumpr NSR modular 3-valve camshafts for Ford 4.6L/5.4L engines deliver an aggressive "thumping" exhaust idle and generous power gains in the middle and upper rpm range. They will turn your Ford 3-valve engine into a performance machine with a minimum of installation difficulty; they only require the addition of COMP Cams cam phaser limiter kits and computer tuning. These cam phaser limiter kits safely modify the factory variable cam timing (VCT) system, allowing for the use of aggressive camshaft lobe technology without sacrificing the benefits of the VCT. Choose between three unique cam designs—Thumpr, Mutha' Thumpr, and Big Mutha' Thumpr. Each delivers excellent horsepower gains and broad torque curves for your musclecar.
